When Schedules Change—Let’s Get Back to Basics!
It’s not just the new school year schedule—-our September expert speaker schedule has changed too. But the good news is that Julia Cassidy, ADHD2024 speaker on Psychiatry Nutrition is now set to join us on January 15th to kick off our New Year’s resolutions planning around nutrition and ADHD.
TONIGHT: Seattle CHADD leaders Jessica Hespelt and Beth Bardeen lead the discussion to help fast track your ADHD support and take action to support ADHD—all in time for ADHD Awareness month coming in a few weeks.
1. Get Advice from the First Two Years – Hear what it’s been like for Seattle CHADD members since their diagnosis and what’s made the biggest difference -perfect for anyone wondering what’s next and what a future with ADHD is like.
2. Get Easy Ways to Advocate – with the new CHADD Advocacy Center. Now you can take quick action — CHADD has done the work to source the links and resources to make it easier than ever to make your voice heard where it matters most.
3. Get a Heads-up for the New Adult ADHD Clinical Guidelines expected later this year. Find out how to track updates and why these guidelines could finally close one of the biggest gaps in ADHD care.
4. How the ADHD Conference Can Make a Big Difference. Get caught up on what it’s like to go to the ADHD conference with Seattle CHADD. We’re surprised to see airfare – Seattle to Kansas City as low as $167 RT. Add in the Early Bird registration member discount, sharing a room, the conference volunteer rebate and you’ll be surprised too. These few days can really help fast-track your ADHD progress.
Bring your questions, your curiosity, and join us for support, connection and just hanging out with others living with ADHD just like you.
We start our meetings with a quick hello to all, then everyone can choose their Support Group breakout room.
Let us know if you are interested in leading a different peer group – because ADHD affects us all differently. Being with others who have similar experiences makes living with ADHD a lot easier.
